Membership Category: Introduction to Cataraqui Curling with Learn to Curl is a one-year membership category that is available to Adult beginner/novice curlers including our season-long Learn to Curl-Skills Development league, held on Thursday evenings at 8 PM
Membership Category: Introduction to Cataraqui Curling as an Experienced adult curlers playing in day or evening leagues.
These categories are available only for the first two-years of Cataraqui curling membership)

- Discounted rate for the first 2 seasons, subject to annual % increase per fee schedule.
- In Year 1 Beginner/Novice Curlers - ability to register for Learn to Curl (Thursday Night Skills development) or day/evening Club & recreational Leagues

- Non-Membership Learn to Curl Fundamentals Program - Cataraqui also offers a no-obligation, non-member program: a 5-week, day-time, LTC Fundamentals program which runs from October 30th to November 27th, 2024, on Wednesday afternoons from 1 -2:30 PM.
- Program fee: $99
- After completing the 5-week Fundamentals program, participants may choose to become a member and join non-competitive Club leagues as an Introductory to Cataraqui Curling Members starting in December. The $99 LTC Fundamentals fee would then be applied to the annual membership dues, reducing it by that amount.

FAQs
1.How am I billed? Annual Curling Dues are billed on your Sept. 30th statement and are due to be paid by October 31st. Curlers' Capital Fees are billed October 31st and are due by November 30th.
2.What is the difference between Dues and Capital Fees? Your dues contribute to the day-to-day running of the Club; operational expenses such as payroll, utilities, supplies.Capital fees are collected and accrued to pay for larger projects, such as insulating the rink, replacing roofs, paying down club debt, etc.
3.What is “Spousal One League? This is a category for a spouse or partner of a full curling member. They are limited to playing in one league only.
4. In how many leagues may I play with my Membership? Apart from Junior 101 and Spousal One League, curlers may play in as many leagues as they choose and can fit in the schedule of play. In some cases, a competitive league and a recreational league may be scheduled congruently. In such cases you would need to decide to which league you want to commit. There is no set limit on the number of leagues in which a curler may play.
5.What is the “Annual F&B Minimum? Most Club members have an assigned “Minimum Chit” requirement of a specific dollar amount that members must spend on Food and Beverage over the 12-month fiscal year. Oct. 1 – Sept. 30.
• Juniors and “Intro to Cataraqui” Curlers are exempt from the F&B Minimum.
• Adult Curlers begin being assessed the F&B Minimum (“Minimum Chit”) in their 3rd season at Cataraqui.
